The former musical maestro of Power Rangers, Ron Wasserman, has informed us that he has been made aware of an all new animated Power Rangers cartoon series in development. At the moment, a two-minute promo is being prepared with a view to a full series, but no other information is known. Some fans speculate that this might even be the rumoured "Power Rangers Super Legends", after the mysterious URL that links back to the Jetix homepage. An animated series would certainly be a cost effective measure for Disney, who moved the enitre Power Rangers production to New Zealand in 2002 in order to cut costs. However, even if the new animated venture was to be given the green light, we at the Retrocenter very much doubt that it would be the end of live-action Power Rangers.
If this is true, Usa will leave Sentai shows finally alone ! I kinda do hope that will be the future difference between Sentai & Power Rangers ! Japan is Live action & America is Animated ! And if Live-action does end in the states, there's a good chance that America will look to the internet to watch Live-Action from Japan !
Also no wonder there making a live-action american version of "Kamen Rider Ryuki" next year ! so that mean when Live-Rangers end, & Cartoon rangers begin, The usa will watch Live-Riders !

| I think that the project has now stopped. Also, Saban has the Power Rangers now so, I don't think we'll watch an animated season and the Super Sentai won't be left alone! |
